Please take a look at the steps you will take to become a student at Penn State Brandywine, starting with your offer of admission.
You are offered admission
Upon receipt of a completed application, SAT或ACT分数, 以及所有的抄本, Penn State will offer admission to all qualified applicants. If an offer is not made, you should not assume that your options are closed. 联系 招生办公室 to explore your options.
接受你的提议
Once you have received an offer of admission, your next step is to accept the offer by logging on to MyPennState using your 朋友 of Penn State (FPS 账户). When you accept your offer, you are telling the University that you intend to enroll. First-year students accept their offer by paying a $230 enrollment fee ($100 of this is a general deposit which will be returned to you upon leaving the University). Transfer students pay the $230 general deposit.
Optional On-校园房屋
You will be informed if on-campus housing is available when you accept your offer of admission. If housing is available, you must accept the offer of admission and pay fees ($230 non-refundable general deposit fee and $100 non-refundable housing reservation fee, for a total of $330). You must then agree to the Terms, 条件, and Regulations of the Housing Contract and the housing and financial statements. Completing these steps means you have successfully accepted the offer of admission and the Housing Contract. A confirmation email will be sent to the address on file.
If housing is full when you accept your offer of admission, you'll have other options. These may include adding your name to the Waitlist (although adding your name does not guarantee that an offer will be made), seeking off-campus housing, or changing to another Penn State campus that still has housing available.
Attend New Student Orientation
This step is designed to acquaint you with the sometimes complex academic world of Penn State. Orientation helps you explore the different academic opportunities available at the University, as well as the requirements of your chosen degree. Your testing results will be interpreted and explained to you. Learn more about New Student Orientation.
Schedule your classes
All students have the opportunity to meet with an academic adviser in order to prepare a schedule of classes that meets their needs as well as the requirements of their chosen degree. New first-year students schedule classes during New Student Orientation, while transfer students make an individual appointment with their academic adviser. Transfer students will be notified by mail with the contact information for their assigned academic adviser.
